Here`s some more pastel portraits from the last few months;I`ve only just discovered pastels after years of being primarily a pencil artist - I love the expressive qualities the medium brings;I always strive to convey a feeling of intense emotion in my work,be it longing or melancholy,and I find using pastels really helps this.
